Massage Therapy Services

Our Massage is Different
We are not your typical massage service. First off, we are NOT A SPA. We do not do “fluff and buff” massage. And while our treatments will leave you feeling good and refreshed, the primary aim is much more than to promote relaxation.
Our massage therapy services aim to target specific areas of tension, restriction, and imbalance, and restore them to their ideal state, improving your movement and function.
The majority of our massage patrons remain FULLY CLOTHED during their treatment, with light amount of massage lotion applied to areas of need to as to decrease friction and promote gliding. This allows you to come in, receive your treatment, feel better, and go straight back to the rest of your day without the oily, greasy sensation normally associated with receiving a massage.
All massage therapy treatments are custom to your needs, therefore, don’t expect a full body “routine” rubdown. We offer 3 durations; 30 minutes for targeted treatment in one area, 60 minutes for a general full body or detailed treatment in 2+ areas, or 90 minutes for a detailed full body session.
Below find details on medical vs sports massage. Merely indicate to your therapist when you show up for your session what your needs are, and we will modify the style and treatment to accomplish your goals.
How Often Should You Get A Massage?
The frequency of massage depends entirely on your needs and preferences. At Apogee, our therapists are trained to recommend a specific treatment plan depending on your needs.
Generally speaking, we recommend getting a massage once a week to every other week if you are working on a specific injury or pain issue. This will help to reduce the pain and promote quick healing in your body.
If you an athlete or an active individual who suffers from strain or tension more frequently, then we recommend a massage every 1-3 weeks to keep your body in optimal condition.
We always say: “you don’t wait for your car to break down before you change the oil”. Massage is an important part of injury prevention.
Whatever your needs, our massage professionals at Apogee will work with you to customize a massage therapy plan that suits your individual needs.
